  • Mr. Mayer served as a Trustee of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio between 1995 and 2002. In 1998 he was awarded the Gregg Cup by the Kenyon College Alumni Association as the alumnus who has done the most for the College in the previous year. Mr. Mayer served as President of the Kenyon College Alumni Council in 1993-94. Mr. Mayer was awarded an honorary Doctor of Law by Kenyon College on April 10, 2007.

 

  • The firm is recognized in the Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers.

 

  • Mr. Mayer and Mr. Coleman have been listed since 2009 in Best Lawyers for Washington, DC  in Admiralty and Maritime Law.
